Linked In Executable UML Group

While this site is the intended forum for miUML discussions, it looks like many of these are happening at the LinkedIn Executable UML group.  If you are a LinkedIn member, I encourage you to join this group and follow our discussions on miUML and Executable UML in general.  I actively monitor and participate in both sites.

State Model Subsystem Part 1!

As promised, I have just uploaded the State Model Subsystem metamodel diagram and illustrated model descriptions available in the usual formats on the Download page (near the top).  I'll get going on the other half.  In the meantime, feel free to post any questions or comments.

State Meta Sneak Peak

This is a small portion, still quite rough, but I thought you might like to see the work in progress.

On this model, among other constraints, Assigners and Lifecycles are distinct and an Assigner may not have a Deletion State.

Launched!

Welcome to our open source executable UML website. It's new, so a feature or two on the site might be broken, but we'll do what we can to polish it in the coming days. Let us know if you spot any issues or have ideas for improvement. Ultimately, you should be able, as a member, to set up RSS feeds to be notified of future progress, but we're still figuring out how to get all that stuff to work. In the meantime, we'll keep you posted about new features on this page.

miUML is a work in progress. We've got class metamodeling covered and will soon be adding state metamodels.

For now, feel free to browse around, download files, join up and comment here or in the discussion area. And if you would like to help out, please let us know.
